About the Thunder: Although Oklahoma City has the second-fewest wins in the NBA, it has won five of its last 10 games, notching impressive victories over Utah and Detroit in the process. . . . Eight of the Thunder's 11 wins have come at home. . . . Durant, whom the Blazers considered drafting with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft, has quickly developed into one of the league's most potent offensive players. He ranks sixth in the NBA in scoring and has finished with 30 or more points 11 times, including in each of the Thunder's last two games. He averaged 20.8 points in four games against the Blazers last season. . . . Westbrook, a rookie guard out of UCLA, has shown nice versatility. He has scored 30 or more points four times, has finished with 10 or more rebounds twice and has registered 10 or more assists three times. . . . Two of the Thunder's last four games have gone into overtime --a 114-102 victory over Memphis on Jan. 28 and a 122-118 loss to Sacramento on Feb. 1. . . . Oklahoma City has lost its last two games by a combined five points.
Series history: This will be the Blazers' first game against the Thunder since they moved from Seattle to Oklahoma City. The Blazers' former Northwest rivals have won two in a row and lead the all-time series 98-94. This is the first of four meetings between the teams this season.
Injuries: Steve Blake (right shoulder) and Martell Webster (left foot) will not play for the Blazers. Desmond Mason (knee) and D.J. White (jaw) are inactive for the Thunder.
