Thunder guard Kyle Weaver has undergone successful surgery to repair a tendon in his (non-shooting) left thumb.
Weaver tore the tendon while playing in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas but is expected to be fully recovered in time for training camp in October. The Beloit, Wis., native, who played at Washington State, averaged 5.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 56 games last season.
