Robert Vaden, the Thunder's second-round pick, has signed a contract with Imola in the Italian Pro Basketball league.
Vaden averaged 21.1 points his junior year and 17.6 his senior year at UAB. He drained 254 3-pointers his two seasons with the Blazers after transferring from Indiana. Vaden, an Indianapolis native, was inconsistent during the Thunder's summer league games.
The Thunder will still own Vaden's rights. Oklahoma City acquired Vaden by giving the Charlotte Bobcats cash for the No. 54 overall pick.
