Rumors persist about Thunder's plans
Rumors are rampant what the Thunder will do with the No. 3 pick in the NBA Draft. But there are so many different opinions, it's almost impossible to project who general manager Sam Presti will select Thursday night.

According to DraftExpress.com, Hasheem Thabeet's camp feels good about being drafted by the Thunder , quoting a source who said it's 100 percent that Presti will select the 7-foot-3 Connecticut center if he's available.

Several mock drafts have Oklahoma City taking James Harden, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Arizona State. Harden has a high Basketball I.Q. and would provide perimeter shooting.

ESPN projects Presti will select Ricky Rubio. But if OKC selects the teenage point guard, conjecture is Presti probably would trade Rubio since the Thunder already has Russell Westbrook.

Further complicating matters, ESPN wrote Presti "is hot" for Davidson guard Stephen Curry.

One possible scenario is Presti likes five or six players and he trades the No. 3 pick to acquire additional picks. Presti could take a player who drops to No. 5 or No. 6, including Tyreke Evans, who some have said has the most upside of any player in the draft.
