Q&A
The Thunder's vice president of ticket sales and services answers questions concerning fans purchasing 2009-10 season tickets.

What if fans want to upgrade to better seats that eventually become available?

The first step towards potentially upgrading is to renew existing seats. Only after current accounts are all renewed will Thunder officials know what's available for possible upgrades.

If a fan has four season tickets but wants only two next season what does he do?

Account holders thinking about downgrading should review all options with a Thunder account manager. An intent to downgrade might change seat locations for 2009-10 as well as alter the season-ticket holder's priority status.

How does a season-ticket holder renew tickets?

There's a "renewal central" located outside section 110 on the main concourse. Account managers can discuss renewal options and upcoming Ford Center renovations. With their account number, fans can go online at Thunder.NBA.com. There's also a retention hotline: (405) 208-4666.

What is the process for fans on the waiting list?

Those accounts on the original ticket request list will be contacted by a Thunder sales representative soon to review new seating options.

Is the process the same for fans with mini-packages?

Partial season-ticket holders will be provided the first opportunity to upgrade to a full-season plan. Otherwise, a deposit can be placed for selecting mini-plans when they are made available this summer.

Is the April 10 deadline concrete or can fans be given an extension?

April 10 is the deadline to submit an initial payment. This is important as it allows the team to identify which seats have renewed and also determines inventory that will be available for other ticket holders, those who desire an upgrade or change their seats and those on the waiting list.

When do fans have to pay for 2009-10 season tickets?

The Thunder offers several payment options, including three- and six-month interest-free plans.

If fans give up their season tickets can they join the waiting list for future seasons?

(Yes). Unfortunately, any account that fails to renew forfeits their account status and priority. In subsequent seasons they will have to start over via the ticket request (waiting) list.

When can fans purchase single-game tickets?

Sometime in the fall, around late September or October.
