Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2009-04-15

Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2009-04-15
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Kyle Weaver, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Nenad Krstic. Bench -- Guard Earl Watson, Guard Chucky Atkins, Forward D.J. White, Forward Nick Collison, Forward Malik Rose, Guard Kyle Weaver, Guard Shaun Livingston, Center Robert Swift.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Earl Watson believes his Thunder career is over this week. The reserve has one season left on his contract for $6.6 million.

"I don't think I'm going to be here regardless," Watson of next year. "You never know. This business is incredible, but going into the last year of my deal, business-wise, you become an attractive contract. And for the last month I haven't been playing, so why would I be here?"

The starter when the season began has averaged 6.3 points and 5.6 assists in 66 games.

--G Shaun Livingston is hardly the grizzled vet, but the point guard has seen plenty in his short career and he's trying to pass the lessons he learned with the Clippers on to some of the Thunder's younger players.

"Sam Cassell, Cuttino Mobley, guys like that came to the Clippers organization, a storied franchise for losing, and they brought confidence, swagger and experience," said the 23-year-old Livingston. "That developed into a playoff run. That's all this team is missing."

--G Thabo Sefolosha is done for the season after dislocating his left index finger Friday. Though the team has stumbled the last three weeks, the former Bull believes OKC is on the right track.

"I just hope ? everybody can use these last few games to get ready for next year, and have a good summer and come back ready," he said.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Desmond Mason (knee surgery) is missing the rest of the season. He is expected to make a full recovery.

--G Thabo Sefolosha (dislocated finger) is shut down for the rest of the season.
