Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2009-03-18
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Thabo Sefolosha, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Nenad Krstic. Bench -- Guard Earl Watson, Guard Chucky Atkins, Center Robert Swift, Forward Nick Collison, Forward Malik Rose, Guard Damien Wilkins, Guard Kyle Weaver.

--G Earl Watson was one of just two Thunder players to appear in the first 65 games. His streak ended Saturday at Phoenix, and Watson didn't play Monday against San Antonio, either. :Nothing against Earl's play, I just wanted to give Chucky (Atkins) some minutes," coach Scott Brooks said. "I'm going to stay with Chucky for a while. I don't know how long. They've both earned minutes, but you can only play one backup point guard."

--F Nick Collison is back in the lineup after missing two games with a strained groin. He played nearly 27 minutes Monday against the Spurs, and had 10 rebounds and eight points. "The groin is an injury, like the hamstring, it can be really nasty if you push it to where it gets a lot worse," Collison said. "We didn't want that to happen. I'm hoping after these last four or five days it won't linger."

--G Kyle Weaver is no longer in the starting lineup, meaning his minutes will be reduced. But the plan is to keep the rookie in the rotation. Weaver logged 19 minutes Monday against San Antonio.

--G Desmond Mason (knee surgery) will miss the rest of the season. He is expected to make a full recovery.

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery involved mending the jaw with bone graft taken from his hip.
