PLAYER NOTES: --C Nick Collison returned after missing four games with sore knee with a season-high 18 points and team-high seven rebounds Wednesday against Philadelphia. He also played most of way down the stretch in place of starter Nenad Krstic, who sprained his ankle late in the third quarter.
"I was just trying to get in there and be ready to go from the second I got in the game," Collison said. "Luckily, I had the opportunity to do some things and be aggressive and legs felt good which really helped my activity.
--G Kyle Weaver suffered a significant setback to his sophomore season after undergoing surgery to repair damage sustained due to a dislocated left shoulder. Weaver was primed to move into a key support role because of injuries to point guards Kevin Ollie and Shaun Livingston. Now he's out at least four months. Weaver averaged 6.0 points, 1.7 assists, 1.0 rebound, 1.0 block and 10.0 minutes in three games.
--G James Harden has been pressed into duty as another backup point guard due to a rash of injuries. The rookie hasn't played the position at any level, but he's done OK with 45 assists to 23 turnovers this season.
"It's just going out there and making plays, creating for my teammates," Harden said.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Shaun Livingston (left knee) is out. He's expected out for 3-4 weeks, which would put his return at mid-December at the latest.
--G Kevin Ollie (sore knee) had minor surgery Monday and is expected out four weeks.
--G Kyle Weaver (separated shoulder) had surgery Monday and is expected to be out at least four months.
--Nenad Krstic (sprained ankle) is day-to-day.
