ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Thabo Sefolosha, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Nenad Krstic. Bench -- Guard James Harden, Guard Mike Wilks, Forward Etan Thomas, Guard Kyle Weaver, Guard Kevin Ollie, Forward D.J. White, Center Serge Ibaka. PLAYER NOTES: --G Russell Westbrook matched up against Brandon Jennings for the first time Friday night and dominated the Bucks rookie sensation. Westbrook scored 20, including nine during a game-turning 17-0 to open the second half.
Westbrook's defense helped limit Jennings to 3-of-11 shooting and 12 points, nearly half his average.
"I try to come out aggressive on the defensive end," Westbrook said. "I have to give a lot of credit to my teammates for helping me. We did a lot of switching and contesting their outside shots."
--G Shaun Livingston had the stitches removed from his left knee this week. He had arthroscopic surgery to remove staples from his reconstructed knee on Nov. 17. The recovery time was initially 3-4 weeks, but he's essentially scrapped that timetable.
"It's on me," Livingston said. "I'm trying to get back. The sooner the better, but I'm not rushing anything. Pretty much it just depends on swelling.
"Even before the surgery I didn't have any pain. It was just swelling and it was inhibiting my movements, but now that I've got that taken care of, it's pretty much when I'm ready conditioning-wise."
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Shaun Livingston (left knee) is on the inactive list. He's expected to be out for 3-4 weeks, which would put his return at mid-December at the latest.
--G Kevin Ollie (sore knee) is out. An MRI exam didn't reveal any damage.
--G Kyle Weaver left practice Wednesday after suffering a separated shoulder and is out indefinitely. It's a blow for the second-year pro, who was thrust into action after returning from a brief D-League stint.
--F Nick Collison (sore knee) is day-to-day.
