Bench -- Guard James Harden, Forward Etan Thomas, Forward Nick Collison, Guard Kevin Ollie. PLAYER NOTES:

--G James Harden isn't a starter yet, but the third overall pick is expected to play a major role this season. The 6-foot-5 rookie averaged 12.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists during preseason.

"He's going to be one of the main guys that's going to help us off the bench," Kevin Durant said. "That's a key role in this league, having a good sixth man. I think he's going to be that for us."

--F Jeff Green and F Kevin Durant were selected as team captains by coach Scott Brooks.

"I did it because I think they're ready to accept that responsibility," Brooks said. "I put a lot of pressure on captains. You have to be there for the team regardless of how you perform."
