Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2009-02-06
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Kyle Weaver, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Nick Collison. Bench -- Forward Joe Smith, Guard Earl Watson, Center Nenad Krstic.

--G Kyle Weaver isn't losing his starting job in the near future. Though he's struggled some since replacing an injured Desmond Mason, Weaver is Scott Brooks' choice to pair alongside Russell Westbrook.

"Kyle has done a good job and is going to get better every game," Brooks said.

--F Kevin Durant went into Wednesday second in the league in minutes played (39.7), trailing Atlanta's Joe Johnson (40.1). Durant played 43 minutes against Denver. He had 31 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

--G Earl Watson picked up the slack Wednesday for an ineffective Kyle Weaver with 12 points and eight assists off the bench. Weaver had just two points and one assist in 35-and-a-half minutes.

--F Joe Smith returned to the Thunder after missing 10 games with a sore right knee. He had not played since getting hurt December 10 at Chicago. Smith tallied five points and six rebounds in 14 minutes of action.

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery involved mending the jaw with a bone graft taken from his hip. He's begun doing light workouts.

--G Desmond Mason (knee surgery) will miss the rest of the season. He is expected to make a full recovery.
