Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2009-02-03

Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2009-02-03
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Kyle Weaver, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Nick Collison. Bench -- Guard Earl Watson, Center Nenad Krstic, Center Mo Sene, Center Robert Swift, Center Chris Wilcox, Guard Damien Wilkins, Guard Chucky Atkins.

PLAYER NOTES :

--C Chris Wilcox has seen his playing time fluctuate dramatically since fellow backup C Nenad Krstic joined the rotation. On the current two-game road trip, Wilcox has played just 13 minutes and scored two points.

"It's a tough situation to go from starting to playing 10 to 15 minutes to not playing at all, but it's life," he said. "You go through ups and downs."

--G Russell Westbrook notched a career-high 34 points and had eight assists in Sunday's overtime loss at Sacramento. The rookie also made 19 free throws, a record for a Kings' opponent since the franchise moved to Sacramento.

--G Kevin Durant has scored 97 points in his last three games, an average of 32.3. He's also grabbed 25 rebounds (8.3) during that span. In Sunday's loss, he had 33 points and five boards.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery involved mending the jaw with bone grafts taken from his hip. He's begun doing light workouts.

--G Desmond Mason (knee surgery) is missing the rest of the season. He is expected to make a full recovery.

--F Joe Smith (sore knee) was inactive Sunday at Sacramento and is officially listed as day-to-day. He's missed 10 straight games.
