Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2009-01-25

Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2009-01-25
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Desmond Mason, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Nick Collison. Bench -- Guard Earl Watson, Center Nenad Krstic, Guard Kyle Weaver, Center Robert Swift, Center Chris Wilcox, Guard Damien Wilkins, Guard Chucky Atkins.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Kevin Durant scored a career-high 46 points in Friday night's loss at the Clippers. Durant also set franchise records for most free throws made (24) and attempted (26) in a game. He pulled down 15 rebounds to post his ninth double-double of the season. Durant had only one in 80 games during his rookie season.

--F Jeff Green hit a buzzer-beater to topple Golden State on Wednesday. Taking an inbounds pass from rookie G Russell Westbrook with 1.6 seconds left, Green squared up and nailed a jumper for the 122-121 win.

"I was just trying to keep my composure," Green said. "There was a lot of time left, I just tried to stay with my shot, not rush it, and it went in. It feels great. We have been playing hard all season, playing against great teams with great players (who) hit tough shots on us."

--G Russell Westbrook followed up a 30-point effort with only 11 Friday against the Clippers. The rookie point guard missed 9 of 13 shots and had more turnovers (three) than assists (two) in 37 minutes.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery involved mending the jaw with a bone graft taken from his hip. He has begun doing light workouts.

--F Joe Smith (sore knee) was inactive Friday against the Clippers and is officially listed as day-to-day. He has missed six straight games.
