Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2009-01-20
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Desmond Mason, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Nick Collison. Bench -- Guard Earl Watson, Center Nenad Krstic, Guard Kyle Weaver, Center Robert Swift, Center Chris Wilcox, Guard Damien Wilkins, Guard Chucky Atkins.

--F Kevin Durant thought the modest two-game winning streak going into Sunday's game with Miami might have worked against his team. After beating Detroit and Utah impressively, the Thunder found itself in an early hole against the Heat and couldn't dig out of it.

"We didn't bring energy the whole game," said Durant, who scored 32 points. "We came out complacent and only brought the energy in the third and fourth quarter. We need to bring it whole game.

"I think the success we had the last two games made us come out a little dead in the first half, and it cost us."

--G Russell Westbrook won't be the rookie participant in the slam dunk contest at All-Star weekend in Phoenix. Portland's Rudy Fernandez won the online vote over Westbrook and Milwaukee's Joe Alexander, according to reports out of Portland.

"It is what is," Westbrook said. "You want to win, but it's out of your control."

--C Nick Collison returned to action and the starting lineup Sunday night after missing the previous game with a nasty stomach virus. He lost about 10 pounds during the ordeal. "I don't want to get too much in detail," said Collison, who played 24 minutes against Miami and scored six.

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery involved mending the jaw with bone graft taken from his hip. Recovery time is 4-6 months. He's begun doing light workouts.

--F Joe Smith (sore knee) was inactive Sunday against Miami and is listed as day-to-day. He has missed four straight games.
