Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2009-01-15
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Desmond Mason, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Nick Collison. Bench -- Guard Earl Watson, Guard Kyle Weaver, Center Nenad Krstic.

--C Nenad Krstic sure is feeling comfortable. In just his fifth game since returning to the NBA from Russia, the backup had 14 points and 11 rebounds in Wednesday's win over Utah.

"I'm feeling better and better stepping on the court," Krstic said. "When you play tough defense and they miss shots, you have a chance to get rebounds."

--G Kyle Weaver is making the most of his move into the rotation. The rookie averaged 17.5 minutes and 4.3 points (7-of-9 shooting) off the bench in the last four games going into Wednesday. He played another 14 minutes against the Jazz.

--G Russell Westbrook had his campaign for a spot in the All-Star slam-dunk contest end this week. Westbrook joined fellow rookies Joe Alexander (Milwaukee) and Rudy Fernandez (Portland) in the running. The winner, taken from online votes, will be announced Monday.

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery involved mending the jaw with bone graft taken from his hip. Recovery time is four to six months. He's begun doing light workouts.

--F Joe Smith (sore knee) was inactive Wednesday against Utah.
