Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2009-01-07
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Desmond Mason, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Robert Swift. Bench -- Guard Earl Watson, Center Nick Collison, Guard Kyle Weaver, Center Mo Sene, Center Johan Petro, Center Chris Wilcox, Guard Damien Wilkins.

--C Nenad Krstic was cleared to play Monday after his work visa came through. Thunder coach Scott Brooks planned to use Krstic against New York, but decided against it Tuesday morning.

"He has a lot to learn offensively, where to be, defensively, our schemes," Brooks said. "He's faking too much, I think. In our scrimmage (Monday) we put him in our 5-on-5 (and) he's not able to play with his instincts.

"He's close. (Tuesday) he was with our coaches getting our playbook down, getting our defensive schemes down. We're going to reassess after tonight and reevaluate for tomorrow night's game."

--F D.J. White recently underwent successful surgery on his jaw. Team physicians performed the second and final procedure on Sunday. White underwent initial surgery on October 13 to remove a benign growth from his jaw.

Team officials expect White to miss the next 12-16 weeks following the surgery. White, who was acquired by the Thunder as a part of a draft day trade, has yet to appear in a game this season.

--F Joe Smith returned to the lineup Tuesday after missing last game with a knee contusion. He played 20 minutes off the bench before fouling out with six points and four rebounds.

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery involved mending the jaw with bone graft taken from his hip. Recovery time is 4-6 months. He's begun doing light workouts.

--C Nick Collison (left thumb) was inactive Tuesday against New York. He plans to return by the end of the week.
