Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2009-01-01
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Desmond Mason, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Robert Swift. Bench -- Guard Earl Watson, Center Chris Wilcox, Guard Damien Wilkins.

--C Robert Swift returned to the starting lineup Monday against Phoenix after playing spot minutes in the three previous games. Swift missed a month with back and ankle injuries after starting four games earlier this season.

He had six points and six rebounds in 21 minutes in the matchup against Suns C Shaquille O'Neal.

--F Joe Smith has plenty of experience playing against C Nenad Krstic. Now that they're teammates, Smith said that opponents will respect Krstic's midrange jumper.

"He's a guy who can spread the floor on the offensive end and another long body inside that can protect the paint, a guy with pretty good talent," Smith said. "He plays hard and plays well on both ends of the floor. I've guarded him and he's definitely a guy who you have to be aware of on the offensive end because of the way he shoots the ball."

--G Kyle Weaver had begun to receive meaningful minutes, replacing Damien Wilkins as the backup shooting guard. He averaged nearly 15 minutes in the three games leading up to Wednesday.

"One thing about this game that I love is if you bring it every day in practice and try to get better and work on your game, one of these days you're going to get an opportunity," Coach Scott Brooks said. "And he has done that for two months, and he's being rewarded for working every day in practice trying to get better."

However, Weaver did not play Wednesday in the win over Golden State.

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery involved mending the jaw with bone graft taken from his hip. Recovery time is four to six months. He's begun doing light workouts.

--C Nick Collison (left thumb) was inactive Wednesday. He played Monday after missing three games with a broken thumb.

--F Joe Smith (knee contusion) missed his second straight game Wednesday.
