Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2008-12-27
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Desmond Mason, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Joe Smith. Bench -- Guard Earl Watson, Center Robert Swift, Guard Kyle Weaver, Center Mo Sene, Center Johan Petro, Center Chris Wilcox, Guard Damien Wilkins.

--C Nick Collison broke a bone in his left thumb late in Sunday's loss to Cleveland and didn't take part in Tuesday's shoot-around in Atlanta. Though he's officially listed as day to day, Collison was inactive against the Hawks. His injury is a real blow, especially since Collison reached double-figures in scoring in six of the last eight games.

--F Kevin Durant is unveiling his first signature shoe, the Nike KD1, in his hometown of Washington, D.C., on Saturday against the Wizards. The shoe won't officially be launched until All-Star weekend in February.

--G Russell Westbrook has shown a knack for getting to the boards and is among the league leaders in offensive rebounding among guards.

"He has the ability to jump over a lot of guards his size," coach Scott Brooks said. "He's a long-armed, athletic point guard. But he has a knack for searching the ball out. And quite frankly he's doing it because he jumps over his defender."

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery involved mending the jaw with bone graft taken from his hip. Recovery time is four to six months. He's begun doing light workouts.

--C Nick Collison (left thumb) broke a bone Sunday and was inactive Tuesday at Atlanta. He's officially listed as day to day.
