Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2008-12-22
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Desmond Mason, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Nick Collison. Bench -- Guard Earl Watson, Forward Joe Smith, Guard Kyle Weaver, Center Mo Sene, Center Johan Petro, Center Chris Wilcox, Guard Damien Wilkins.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Desmond Mason made his second start of the season Friday and was back with the first unit Sunday against Cleveland.

"I'll do whatever it takes to help us win," Mason said. "To be out there with the young guys, it was fun to get off to a great start."

Mason scored two points in 32 minutes.

--F Joe Smith had fans congratulate him and the team for the win Friday, which snapped an 11-game home losing streak. The fans have stuck with the team.

"I could kind of feel it in the air that they were proud of what we did," Smith said. "It always feels good because of the support that they give us."

Smith scored six points off the bench in the loss to Cleveland.

--C Nick Collison made all five of his field-goal attempts, finishing with 10 points and nine rebounds in his return to the starting lineup Sunday. He also grabbed the game-clinching offensive board Friday in the win over Seattle.

"I just went for the ball and got my fingers on it and kept them on as it came down instead of just letting (Chris Bosh) get it," Collison said.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery involved mending the jaw with a bone graft taken from his hip. Recovery time is four to six months.

--C Robert Swift (sprained ankle and lower back discomfort) is officially listed as day-to-day.
