Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2008-12-20
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Russell Westbrook, Shooting guard Desmond Mason, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Nick Collison. Bench -- Guard Earl Watson, Forward Joe Smith, Center Chris Wilcox, Guard Damien Wilkins.

--F Joe Smith has been one of the more consistent players this season, but he didn't play recently against the Clippers despite being healthy. Coach Scott Brooks said it was a matter of numbers juggling Jeff Green, Nick Collison, Chris Wilcox, Johan Petro and Smith at the center and power forward positions.

"It was a decision that just happened during the game," Brooks said. "It's tough to balance all of our bigs."

--C Chris Wilcox returned after missing just two games with a dislocated ring finger on his left hand. In his first game back, playing with two fingers taped together, he scored 13 points in 17 minutes.

"This is a rough stretch for us," Wilcox said. "I want to be out there and help my teammates through the struggles. I told the trainer whatever it takes for me to get out there, then make it happen."

--C Robert Swift has another injury. He's been sidelined this season with a hand injury and back spasms. Swift has now suffered a severely sprained left ankle in post-practice, 1-on-1 drills.

"I like going as hard as I can," Swift said. "You get hurt sometimes doing that, but you push through it. My back was getting better, but leveled out. I've just been trying to do as much as I can to try and get back in shape."

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery involved mending the jaw with bone graft taken from his hip. Recovery time is four to six months.

--C Robert Swift (sprained ankle) is inactive. He's officially listed as day-to-day.
