Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2008-11-29
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Earl Watson, Shooting guard Damien Wilkins, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Nick Collison. Bench -- Guard Russell Westbrook, Forward Joe Smith, Forward Chris Wilcox, Forward Desmond Mason.

--F Desmond Mason, out the previous six games with a strained elbow, returned Friday night against Minnesota. Mason participated in the previous two shootarounds and said Friday morning he was ready to play.

"He is back and we're excited to have him," Scott Brooks said. "We want all healthy guys. It makes everybody's job easier. He's tough. He's a tough competitor, he has great competitive spirit. We love that in him. The fans love him here. Those are things he brings to the team and gives us good veteran leadership."

--C Robert Swift has not taken part in any basketball-related activities since injuring his back during the team's Nov. 21 shootaround before facing New Orleans.

"He's still day-to-day," Scott Brooks said. "He hasn't partaken in any of the activities. I'm not so sure he's able to do that yet, even a pre-shootaround practice, even with our big man coach."

--G Russell Westbrook wasn't part of Scott Brooks' lineup tinkering. The rookie point guard will keep coming off the bench despite outplaying starter Earl Watson this season.

"There's no timetable at all," Brooks said of Westbrook starting. "I just want him to get better and he has improved."

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed on Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery, expected to follow in about six weeks, involves mending the jaw with bone graft taken from his hip. Recovery time is four to six months.

--C Robert Swift (lower back discomfort) was inactive Friday against Minnesota. He's officially listed as day-to-day.
