Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2008-11-26
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Earl Watson, Shooting guard Damien Wilkins, Small forward Kevin Durant, Power forward Jeff Green, Center Nick Collison. Bench -- Guard Russell Westbrook, Forward Joe Smith, Center Robert Swift, Guard Kyle Weaver, Center Mo Sene, F Chris Wilcox, C Johan Petro.

--F Jeff Green, formerly a small forward, doesn't mind the move to power forward. He's played the position since high school.

"I'm used to the position, used to banging against bigger guys," he said. "I like the contact."

--G Kevin Durant feels doesn't mind his move back to small forward, where he starred in college at Texas.

"I've been playing that mostly my whole life and last game I felt a lot comfortable at the three, guarding the three, just helping my team out in different areas, so I'm excited," Durant said before Tuesday's game.

--C Nick Collison was moved out of his preferred spot. He was back at power forward this season after playing much of last year out of position at center.

"It'll be tougher against certain teams," Collison said. "But I've done it a lot in my career. You're still doing a lot of the same things, trying to keep them off the backboard and trying to guard post-ups and trying not to let them catch it deep. It's just the personnel's different in terms of who you're matched up against."

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery, expected to follow in about six weeks, involves mending the jaw with bone graft taken from his hip. Recovery time is four to six months.

--F Desmond Mason (sprained right elbow) is out. He is averaging 8.4 points and 3.9 rebounds off the bench. He said the elbow was injured in the third game of the season and flared up after a week ago in a loss to New York Knicks.

--C Robert Swift (lower back discomfort) didn't play against Phoenix. The injury flared up Friday and Swift underwent an MRI exam. He's listed as day to day but didn't accompany the team to New Orleans.
