Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2008-11-16
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Earl Watson, Shooting guard Kevin Durant, Small forward Jeff Green, Power forward Nick Collison, Center Robert Swift. Bench -- Guard Russell Westbrook, Forward Joe Smith, Center Johan Petro, Guard Damien Wilkins, Guard Kyle Weaver, Center Mo Sene, Guard/forward Desmond Mason.

--G Russell Westbrook had a career night (19 points and 10 rebounds) Friday in New York. The follow-up Saturday at Philadelphia didn't start well, as the rookie was shaken diving for a loose ball early in the second quarter.

He didn't return until midway through the third and finished with 13 points on 3-of-12 shooting. Before knocking down half of his 12 shots against the Knicks, Westbrook shot 23 percent in his previous five games.

"I don't worry about it," Westbrook said. "It's a long year. We have so many more games left that I can't really worry about that. I have to get going on the defensive end first. That's the main thing, and I'll be OK."

--G Kevin Durant has often been compared to Hall of Famer George Gervin. It's an easy comparison considering Durant's build and scoring acumen. As a rookie in Seattle last season, Durant had a chance to meet The Iceman and go out to dinner after a Sonics game.

"That was a great experience for me, talking to a player I tried to resemble my game after," Durant said. "I watched tapes of him to see how good he was. I picked his brain a little bit, so it was fun."

--C Mo Sene made just his second appearance of the season when he checked into Saturday's game at Philadelphia midway through the fourth quarter. He made the most of his stint with six points and three rebounds.

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed on Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery, expected to follow in about six weeks, involves mending the jaw with bone graft taken from his hip. Recovery time is four to six months.

--F Chris Wilcox (sprained right knee) was inactive at Philadelphia. He suffered the injury Nov. 9 against Atlanta.
