Oklahoma City Thunder Roster Report 2008-11-14

ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Earl Watson, Shooting guard Desmond Mason, Small forward Jeff Green, Power forward Nick Collison, Center Johan Petro. Bench -- Guard Russell Westbrook, Forward Joe Smith, Center Robert Swift, Guard Damien Wilkins, Guard Kyle Weaver, Center Mo Sene, Center Steven Hill.

--F Nick Collison hasn't been happy with his play this season. After averaging career-highs of 9.8 points and 9.4 rebounds last season, his numbers were down to 6.1 and 6.4 going into Wednesday.

"I haven't been as aggressive as I would like to be," Collison said. "I try to not dwell on it but just come out and look for my opportunities to try to score. But I need to be just as effective defensively and rebounding. I've done OK, but I know I can play better."

--C Robert Swift hasn't progressed beyond potential through his first four seasons, most of which he has been unable to play due to injuries. He's finally getting a chance to see how he fits into the Thunder's future and he's put together a pair of solid performances. In a little more than 12 minutes Monday against Indiana, Swift had nine points and seven boards.

"He probably can't do that 14 games in a row," P.J. Carlesimo said. "I'm more concerned with him maintaining consistency if possible."

--G Kevin Durant was a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against Orlando with a sore left ankle and ended up not playing. He originally sprained his ankle during a practice late in the preseason and then landed awkwardly Monday at Indiana.

Durant didn't participate in Wednesday morning's shoot-around. He was averaging a team-high 22 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Desmond Mason started in his place.

--F D.J. White (jaw surgery) had a benign tumor removed on Oct. 13. The second phase of the surgery, expected to follow in about six weeks, involves mending the jaw with bone graft taken from his hip. Recovery time is 4-6 months.

--F Chris Wilcox (sprained right knee) is day-to-day. He suffered the injury Sunday against Atlanta and had further tests Monday. He wasn't active Wednesday against Orlando.

--G Kevin Durant (sprained left ankle) wasn't active Wednesday against Orlando. He's listed at day-to-day.
