--G Russell Westbrook was one of the few bright spots in Oklahoma City's opening-night loss to Milwaukee. The UCLA product had 13 points and four assists in this pro debut, which doubled as the first regular-season game for the Thunder at the Ford Center.
"When I was in there, I tried to get everyone involved and make it flow more smoothly," the rookie said. "The atmosphere was great."
--F Nick Collison had his first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 boards in the Thunder's first win. He also had three steals and two blocks in 31-1/2 minutes.
"Nick Collison was unbelievable," coach P.J. Carlesimo said. "He had a double-double and was on the boards all night."
