Oklahoma City Thunder Notes, Quotes 2009-05-30
--The Thunder will have entries in the Orlando Pro Summer League and the Vegas Summer League. OKC played only in Orlando last year.

"It just gives us more opportunity, more minutes, more time on the floor for our guys," GM Sam Presti said.

Russell Westbrook will return to Orlando but not head to Vegas. Other players expected to join the summer fun are Shaun Livingston, D.J. White, Kyle Weaver, DeVon Hardin, Serge Ibaka and the draft picks.

--The Thunder had pre-draft workouts with 18 players in the days leading up to the lottery.

The group consisted of Kentucky's Jodie Meeks, DePaul's Dar Tucker, North Carolina's Danny Green, Memphis' Antonio Anderson, Missouri's Leo Lyons and Wisconsin's Marcus Landry, UAB's Robert Vaden, Temple's Dionte Christmas, Louisville's Terrence Williams, UCLA's Josh Shipp, Gonzaga's Josh Heytvelt, Memphis' Shawn Taggart, South Carolina's Dominique Archie and Devan Downey, Buducnost (Serbia) forward Vladimir Dasic, Southern Idaho's Nate Miles, Houston Baptist forward Gordon Watt and Boston College's Tyrese Rice.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "We just have to continue to evaluate the players who are going to be on the board at that point. We can't predict what happens, so we have to be ready for any scenario." -- GM Sam Presti on the team's drafting strategy.
