"That was the first time down to the wire game for me," guard Shaun Livingston said, regarding games with Oklahoma City. "These fans are definitely the sixth man of the year award as far as I am concerned. I have played in a lot of arenas, everywhere. These fans are crazy."

--The Oklahoman newspaper of Oklahoma City conducted a poll of Rookie of the Year voters, compiling votes from 25 of 123 league-wide voters. Thunder G Russell Westbrook was third. Bulls G Derrick Rose received all 25 first-place votes. Nets C Brook Lopez was second, and Grizzlies G O.J. Mayo was fourth.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "When he's knocking down his jump shots, there's nothing you can do about it. We were getting hands up and contesting, but they were going in." -- F Kevin Durant, on Richard Jefferson torching Oklahoma City on Saturday.
