Oklahoma City Thunder Notes, Quotes 2009-03-22
--The Thunder finished off their four-game season series with Utah, which Oklahoma City coach Scott Brooks called the most physical team in the league.

"They set screens, they crash the boards, they hit you, they foul a lot, they get away with a lot of fouling because they're a physical team," Brooks said. "They like that. They need that. They thrive off of that."

The Thunder have picked up their defensive intensity as the season has progressed, but have miles to go to catch up to Utah in the physicality department.

--When the Bulls and Jazz were on their way to 100 points in the last two games, it was pretty obvious that the Thunder were doomed. The century mark has become an awfully good predictor of success for OKC.

The Thunder are 11-0 since Jan. 9 when holding opponents to less than 100 points. Chicago and Utah both eclipsed 100.

"Our success was getting to us," Scott Brooks said. "We were getting a little happy. When we've won some games, we've played with a little anger on the defensive end."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "We get mad after every loss. We just can't wait until the next game to try and redeem ourselves. That's the best thing about this team. We never quit. We never get down. We just come back at practice the next day and work hard." -- F Kevin Durant, after Friday's loss to Utah.
