Oklahoma City Thunder Notes, Quotes 2009-03-16
--Thunder leading scorer Kevin Durant said his sprained right ankle is close to 100 percent. He returned to practice leading up to Saturday's visit to Phoenix for the first time since sustaining the injury Feb. 27.

"I'm feeling good right now," Durant said. "It's a slight pinch, but it's nothing I can't play on. I'm ready to get back out there."

Durant had recently began doing more basketball-related activities, including running at full speed and cutting, without any significant pain.

--Rookie guard Russell Westbrook felt the altitude in his first game at Denver. The thin air of the Mile High City takes an adjustment.

"It was a little hard to breath for the first couple of minutes," Westbrook said. "You kind of got to catch your wind fast before you can get used to it.

"You sit out for a little bit and then come right back in you still feel it a little bit. It's nothing you can really do to try to get around it. You just got to go out there and keep playing."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "It was real nice and get him back so he can get his rhythm back. He's been gone for two weeks now, and he's just been back in the flow. He's getting his rhythm back, but he's just got to get back into the flow; he'll be back." -- G Russell Westbrook, on getting Kevin Durant back Saturday at Phoenix.
