Oklahoma City Thunder Notes, Quotes 2009-02-11
--Teammates during the season usually remain teammates during All-Star weekend. The three Celtics in the All-Star Game, for example, are all playing for the Eastern Conference team.

The Rookie Challenge is a notable exception. Thunder forwards Kevin Durant and Jeff Green are suiting up for the sophomore team, while point Russell Westbrook earn a rookie invite.

"I'm going to tell y'all right now, I'm guarding Russ the whole game," Durant quipped. "Y'all might see a show."

--Thunder players Nenad Krstic and Desmond Mason were on hand as the team recently assisted in the reopening of the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum. A mechanical malfunction caused flooding throughout 10,000 square feet of exhibit space as well as in the Memorial's Archives and Center for Education & Outreach.

The Thunder franchise helped generate interest by providing vouchers for upcoming games for people who bought tickets to the museum's reopening.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "You get to guard the best player in the world. You only get to do that three times this year. Somebody gets to wake up and guard the best player in the world. That's an honor." -- Coach Scott Brooks, on rookie Kyle Weaver matching up Tuesday night with Kobe Bryant.
