--The Thunder-owned D-League affiliate in Tulsa opened camp with 17 hopefuls shooting for 10 roster spots. Tulsa head coach Nate Tibbetts and assistant coach Dale Osborne spent much of the summer learning the Thunder way with Scott Brooks and his NBA staff. The big club wants to make sure there's synergy in Tulsa. "We're going to call things the same way as the Thunder," Tibbetts said. "Just the drills and all of our terminology, defense we're going to play the same, how we guard pick-and-rolls. Just to make the transition hopefully (easier) for the guys who go from Tulsa to Oklahoma City or guys that are assigned here, to make that comfort level very high."
Thunder assistant general manager Rich Cho oversees basketball operations for the 66ers.
"Every little detail down here we try to incorporate up there," Cho said.
--Add Spurs swingman Richard Jefferson to the list of guys shut down by Thunder stopper Thabo Sefolosha. Jefferson scored only four points Saturday night after averaging 21 on 57 percent shooting in his previous five games.
Jefferson shot only 1-for-4 in 35 minutes, and he lost the ball off his leg with 15 seconds left. Sefolosha said he got his hand on the ball to deflect it away, helping preserve the win.
"He didn't have a very good game, so I didn't think he was that confident," Sefolosha said. "I kind of sensed that."
