Oklahoma City Thunder Notes, Quotes 2009-01-15

--G Earl Watson isn't worrying about trade rumors. Reports had the veteran point guard headed to Charlotte as part of a proposed three-team trade that included Dallas.

"It's not the first report of the year, so I'm not even going to comment on it in depth," Watson said. "It's something someone wrote about. I can't comment on it."

Asked if he was open to being dealt, Watson said he didn't have a choice and trades are part of business in the NBA.

--The recent improvements offensively are dampened by one major sticking point. The Thunder is averaging a league-leading 16.5 turnovers per game and it's not as if the number is going down. OKC averaged 17.6 turnovers in the nine games leading up to Wednesday against Utah.

"It's definitely a problem," Scott Brooks said. "We have been addressing it."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "We're definitely playing a little better. There's a fine line in the NBA between winning and losing, and confidence is a big key. We're starting to get some." -- C Nick Collison, on beating Utah for the Thunder's fourth win in eight games.
