Oklahoma City Thunder Notes, Quotes 2009-01-14
--C Nenad Krstic returned to the place his NBA career began Monday night. The Serbian spent four seasons in New Jersey before a brief stay in Russia earlier this season. He has nothing but fond memories of his time with the Nets. The Thunder signed Krstic to an offer sheet last month that New Jersey declined to match. He understood why the Nets didn't offer a contract after last season.

"They have some good young players, some big guys," Krstic said. "I was happy with the way it worked out."

--C Nick Collison has had an erratic year. After nearly averaging a double-double last season, Collison went into Monday scoring 7.6 points and grabbing 6.3 rebounds per game. Those are his lowest totals since his second season. He's enjoyed a resurgence lately. Collison had arguably his best game of the season in an overtime win at Chicago with 21 points, nine rebounds and four assists.

"That's who he is," coach Brooks said. "He's an energy, effort and good teammate guy every game. That's how he plays. He wants to help his teammates throughout the game."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "They were really nice to me and gave me an opportunity to play in the NBA. The only bad thing is I got injured, but you can't control that." -- C Nenad Krstic on his return to New Jersey.
