Oklahoma City Thunder Notes, Quotes 2009-01-11
--The center rotation has been a particular sore spot throughout the season, namely due to injuries. Nick Collison, Robert Swift, Joe Smith and Chris Wilcox have all missed games with various ailments.

They're all relatively healthy now and Nenad Krstic has also been added to the pivot brigade. Suddenly, center is a position of relative strength. Obviously, they can't all play.

Swift, Smith and Krstic got significant time Friday against Yao Ming and limited the Houston All-Star center 14 points and seven rebounds, and forced six turnovers.

"They played well on defense and made him challenge shots on the perimeter," coach Scott Brooks of his three-headed center. "That is something Yao is not very good at doing."

--Back-to-backs and road games haven't been too kind to the Thunder all season. Three of the team's worst losses were on the second night off consecutive games and OKC took a 1-16 road record into Saturday.

Well, the Thunder knocked off two birds with one stone at Chicago. OKC improved to 3-8 on the back end of back-to-backs and doubled its away win total with the overtime victory over the Bulls.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "It felt good, but every win feels good. No matter if you're the best team or the worst team in the league, every win feels good." -- F Kevin Durant, after being Chicago in overtime Saturday.
