Oklahoma City Thunder Notes, Quotes 2008-12-27
--The Thunder appears confident New Jersey won't match the offer sheet for C Nenad Krstic, who arrived in Oklahoma City this week to undergo a physical. The Nets have until Monday to match the three-year offer for more than $15 million.

If not, the 7-foot center could be in a Thunder uniform next week. Krstic would add needed depth to Oklahoma City's frontcourt rotation. The team's primary centers are Nick Collison, Chris Wilcox, Joe Smith and Robert Swift.

Thunder doctors are likely to take a close look at Krstic's repaired ACL. He suffered a torn ACL in December 2006 and was slow to recover last season in New Jersey.

--Oklahoma City didn't fare well in its last road game before visiting Detroit. The Thunder lost by 11 and shot only 37.4 percent in the loss at Atlanta after losing the previous five road games by an average of just 6.0 points and shooting 47.5 percent.

"They hit a lot of big shots (Tuesday) and they got a lot of stops," Kevin Durant said of the Hawks. "That's why they're a playoff team. Teams make their run, but we can't allow that. We could have made more shots but we didn't."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "We're a young team that is still learning how to finish games and they are a great team that knows how to do that. AI had a terrific fourth quarter and we just didn't have an answer for him." -- C Chris Wilcox, after the two-point loss at Detroit.
