Oklahoma City Thunder Notes, Quotes 2008-11-29
--Coach Scott Brooks continues to evaluate the Thunder's talent. The team was blown out for the first time on his three-game watch Wednesday at Cleveland.

"We're just trying to focus on getting our team playing very well," Brooks said. "There's no doubt we had a step backwards the last game. Not one person in that locker room was happy with the way we performed in Cleveland.

"But the NBA, those things happen. There's no excuses and we've never used one. So the fact of the matter, we didn't like the way we performed. So, our grade system is: Guys, we have to compete every night. And you should be able to do that."

--Before the Cleveland game Wednesday, Scott Brooks joked about his short stint with the Cavs during the 1997-98 season. He was roommates with center Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Without going into much detail, Brooks said the living arrangement was rather interesting.

"I'll just tell you this, it was a three-bedroom apartment, and the apartment had one door," he said. "And that was to get into the apartment. That included bedroom doors, bathroom doors and closet doors."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "They understand what happened. We've got a good group of guys in there that believe in each other. Just because we had a tough loss doesn't mean we're going to be separated." -- Scott Brooks on the team staying together after the 35-point loss at Cleveland.
