LeBron, Cavs romp to easy win over Knicks
Around the league

NEW YORK - LeBron James might never have an easier night at Madison Square Garden, whether he plays for the Knicks or not.

James scored 26 points before sitting out the fourth quarter, and the Cleveland Cavaliers quickly took a charged-up New York crowd out of the game in a 119-101 victory Tuesday night.

Delonte West added 16 points and Wally Szczerbiak had 15 for the Cavaliers, who rang up their highest point total of the season and put seven players in double figures, showing they may have more help than ever for James, the NBA's leading scorer.

Fans hoping someday to see James play in New York got to learn how good his team in Cleveland is right now. The Cavaliers turned it into a blowout while James was enjoying his first rest to start the second quarter.

Other games

Mavericks 109, Pacers 106 at Dallas: Jason Terry scored 29 points as Dallas rallied to top Indiana for its fifth straight victory.

Suns 99, Thunder 98 at Oklahoma City: Matt Barnes hit a 3-pointer from the left wing with 25.7 seconds left to complete Phoenix's fourth-quarter rally and spoil Scott Brooks' home debut as the Oklahoma City Thunder's head coach. The Thunder, let by Kevin Durant's 29 points, play the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Wizards 124, Warriors 100 at Washington - Ed Tapscott, coaching his first game of any sort since a spot on the bench in his daughter's youth league in 1993, guided Washington to a blowout .

Knicks trade official

The trade that sent Zach Randolph from the Knicks to the Clippers was completed Tuesday, though Cuttino Mobley still wasn't available to play for the Knicks.

The deal was made Friday but was hung up when the Knicks reportedly learned of a heart condition during Mobley's physical.

Randolph was prevented from playing Monday night for the Clippers because of the delay.

New York waived the physical requirement so the deal could be finalized.

Bobcats' top-scorer Jason Richardson practiced Tuesday for the first time since undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery and could play tonight in Toronto. Richardson has missed six straight games since waking up with pain and swelling his right knee on Nov. 12, a day after scoring 23 points in a loss to Denver. Doctors performed exploratory surgery and found no structural damage. ... Heat forward Dorell Wright was expected to miss at least three weeks after having surgery Tuesday to remove debris from his left knee. Wright has played only one game for Miami since he tore his left meniscus on March 2 and had surgery the following day. ... Bucks center Andrew Bogut will be sidelined for a week to 10 days after suffering a bone bruise to his left knee Monday in a loss at Orlando.
