Kevin Durant has lofty goals for the Thunder this season.
"I've been thinking this whole summer that we have to start off well to become a playoff team," Durant said Tuesday at his Basketball camp. "Anything less than the playoffs is a failure for us." After getting off to one of the worst starts in NBA history (3-29), Oklahoma City finished 20-30 over its final 50 games.
Highlighted by two wins over San Antonio and wins over playoff teams like Dallas, Utah, Portland, Chicago and Detroit, the Thunder was 7-7 in January, 7-8 in March.
"(Making the playoffs) is a realistic goal for us," Durant said. "We have the talent. We were better towards the end of the season last year. Anything less than the playoffs is a failure."
